About Us

Our History

Cornerstone Counseling Inc. was established in 1993, at the Lord’s leading, by Lynn Snavely MA, LPC and Kelle Schmidt MA, LPC on the wonderful island of Maui, HI and continued growing for 11 years. Sensing a move back to the mainland, and praying for direction, we were led to relocate to Steamboat Springs, Colorado.  In 2005, Cornerstone was re-established and operated in Colorado until 2014. After a God-led sabbatical, Lynn and Kelle are now privileged to serve in the Wood River Valley of Idaho, servicing Sun Valley, Hailey and Bellevue.

Our counseling style and approach:

Kelle and Lynn work as a team, combining their talents and skills. We have attended numerous workshops and taken multiple continuing education classes over the past 25 years to keep updated with current trends and techniques. In 2018, after completing all of Colorado State’s requirements, we became Licensed Professional Counselors.

Our style is eclectic in nature meaning we utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches, resources and information. This eclectic method is primarily practical, compassionate, relevant and matched to suit individual needs.
